Happy Birthday Hijacked!

hi all this is john, whitney's husband writing!

long ago i met this wonderful girl, whitney, the author of this blog. She can spot any typo i've ever ever ever writtened... all of a sudden all my sentences were corrected and refreshed with the genius of whitney's smarty pants and merriam-webster vocab... this girl, so wonderful, bewildered with hopeful honesty has a literary grandeur in her typed word. her courageous life always lead her in great adventures. on a whim, we would be downtown with a guitar playing for change to see if we could make enough for coffee...

speaking of  c o f f e e .

she loves it so much. I though I was weird because of my passion for the roasted goodness. she was so messybeautiful- perfectly matching, completing me. that time we went to the beach with the kids and kites. no wine glasses. bottle opener from the gas station. wine chilled by the cool sand. i loved it. not because it's typically romantic but because my winter (whitney) showed our daughter the ocean for the first time. i absolutely love her perspective on life. I enjoy how she enjoys life. She is seriously one of the most humble people i know. She's so talented in drawing, singing, cooking, guitar, piano, looking pretty, reading, and writing!

Years later with two amazing kids we celebrate her birthday! Jan 15th forever will be yours.

That's right today is whitney's birthday! I wonder what her reaction to me hijacking the blog will be???

The reason for my post is to request comments telling her how much the Leaves of My Tree blog has meant to you. I know it would be one of the best gifts readers could give a blog author. So, if so inclined, tell her happy birthday!!! She'll love it!!!

So here' s my note to her:
